Dialogues

Click below for our dialogues:

Here’s what’s included:

25 in-depth dialogues covering: Healthcare (doctor’s office, pharmacy, emergency room), Financial Life (banking, pay stubs, bill disputes), Housing & Utilities (renting, electric company, neighbor conflicts), Work & Career (job interviews, calling about listings, job orientation), Government & Legal (DMV, Social Security, immigration/visas), Daily Life (grocery shopping, laundromat, restaurants, small talk, post office), Education (parent-teacher conferences, community college/ESL enrollment), and Emergency Situations (calling 911, public transit).

Each dialogue features a realistic multi-turn conversation (10–13 exchanges), a setting description, 4 key vocabulary phrases, and a language notes section with cultural tips. The language is natural American English — contractions, casual expressions, and real workplace/service phrases included.

Each dialogue in this collection represents a real situation you are likely to encounter while living and working in the United States. The conversations are written in natural, everyday American English — the way people actually speak, not just textbook language.

For each dialogue, you will find:

  • A realistic setting that gives context for the conversation
  • Key vocabulary words and phrases highlighted before the dialogue
  • A natural back-and-forth exchange with multiple speakers
  • A language notes section explaining important expressions and cultural tips

Study tips:

Read each dialogue aloud. Practice it with a partner. Focus on the key vocabulary before reading. After reading, try to reproduce the conversation from memory. The goal is not perfect grammar — it is effective communication.
