Present Continuous Tense
Definition
The Present Continuous (also called Present Progressive) describes actions happening right now, at this moment, or temporary situations around the present time.
Formula
Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing
Key Rules
1. Use for actions happening at the exact moment of speaking.
2. Use for temporary situations: I’m living with my sister this month.
3. Use for planned future events: We are meeting on Friday.
4. Stative verbs (know, believe, love, own) are NOT used in continuous tenses.
