Definition
The Simple Present tense describes habits, general truths, facts, and repeated actions. It also expresses feelings and states of being.
Formula
Subject + base verb (add -s/-es for he/she/it)
Key Rules
1. Use for habits and routines: She walks to school every day.
2. Use for general truths and facts: Water boils at 212°F.
3. Use for scheduled events: The train leaves at 8 a.m.
4. Add -s or -es to the base verb for third-person singular (he, she, it).
